For as long as I can remember, drawing and painting have been my passion. Weather it be creating characters and concept art or painting landscapes or portraits, my goal is to faithfully represent the beauty of creation.
Artist's of the past such as Rembrandt, Sargent, Wyeth and Rockwell have been my inspiration as well as modern masters like, Richard Schmid, David Leffel and Burt Silverman. It is upon their broad shoulders that I attempt to stand, as they labored to faithfully record what they see; the simple beauty of light, shadow, color, form, edges.
My studio is located in East Central Minnesota.
